Welcome back to our Covid safe glass classes!
We’re back!!!
After a long break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, when the happy chatter of people enjoying glass classes fell silent, we’re now running our Covid safe glass classes again in our Chilham glass studio.
What’s different?
The “new normal” means maximum class sizes of four instead of six, to ensure plenty of room for social distancing. Face coverings are recommended for occasions when I need to come within 2 metres to show or help with something, but they’re not compulsory for the whole class, provided that we all keep 2 metres apart. Hand towels have been replaced with paper towels for the time being, and each person has their own tea towel for drying their glass where necessary. Equipment is cleaned before being put away and you’ll have a whole table to yourself (you can share with a member of your household / social bubble if they come with you).
Weekly classes
Our regular weekly Covid safe classes in glass fusing are taking place on Tuesdays, with a choice of 11am to 2pm or 6.45pm to 9.45pm.
Our stained glass and glass appliqué (stained glass mosaic) weekly Covid safe classes are on Wednesdays, also with a choice of 11am to 2pm or 6.45pm to 9.45pm.
There is currently one space available on the Tuesday glass fusing course from 11am to 2pm. If you’d like to join, contact us on 01227 730598 or by email at enquiries@creativeretreatsandholidays.co.uk ; the first person to book will secure the space. (Anyone else is welcome to join the waiting list) You can book a block of 6 or more classes; we’re also still running our offer of “pay for ten classes and get an eleventh free”.
One day & two day classes
We’ve not had our feet up during lockdown; there are courses on the website almost until the end of the year & the last few will appear shortly. We’ve also added more gorgeous glass gifts to the website – ideal for gifts for those “hard to buy for” people in your life and for anyone with a love of glass.
