This fused glass platter and small glass dishes are an example of what you can make using glass fusing techniques.

Glass fusing for improvers- the next level

10am to 5pm; £95 per person.

This is the perfect add-on to yesterday’s glass fusing taster day in our Kent studio but is open to anyone who’s tried glass fusing before and wants to do some more.

If you’ve done some fusing before but would like to take it further, this is the course for you. We’ll be tack fusing with Bullseye fusing glass, frit, stringers, frit balls and more.

What can I make?

You’ll have a full day (10am to 5pm) to make a frit picture, a window hanging, a bowl & / or coasters. The choice is yours.

Glass is included for around three items depending on size; if you’d like to make more, materials are available to purchase. Why not try some new techniques or immerse yourself in  something  more ambitious than you’ve tried before. Perhaps experiment with inclusions, kiln carving, glass enamels, reactions between different glasses or with a fritscape. Play with glass powders and try sgraffito. The choice is endless!

What should I bring?

Just bring yourself, closed-in shoes and some ideas / pictures for inspiration. All materials, refreshments and lunch are included.

Your glass will be fused after your course and can be collected or posted to you (this typically costs around £7 depending on its size & weight).
