Description
This stained glass six-pointed star in red and gold glass has been made using the Tiffany (copper foil) technique of stained glass. Like a star of David, it has six points, making it perfect as a Christmas decoration. It measures 16.2cm tall and 11.6cm wide and has a hanging loop at the top.
It features six red points in alternating shades of red with a gold glass hexagon in the centre. The solder seams have been finished with a copper patina to compliment the colours of the glass.
It weighs 65g, so if you plan to fix it at the very top of your Christmas tree, you might need to reinforce the top spike of your tree to keep it from bending. It’ll look great hung from a lower branch, hanging in a window or dangling from a garland or length of bunting. Why not use it as the centrepiece of a wreath for your door?
There’s no reason to put it away for the rest of the year either. This stained glass six pointed star can decorate your house all year round!
