Description
These Pentecostal crosses on a fused glass curve are an exquisite and unique piece of art.  The crosses, representing Christ’s sacrifice at Easter, are enhanced by the artist’s use of red streaky glass with a hint of golden yellow representing the fire of the Holy Spirit and the divine presence.  This piece is one of a kind, hand-crafted and signed on the reverse by the artist. The crosses have been carved into the glass in the kiln for about 24 hours. After the glass is cooled and washed it is placed carefully on a ceramic mould and returned to the kiln for a further 24 hours so it takes on the curved shape.
This would be a fabulous gift for significant religious milestones such as baptisms, confirmations or ordinations or as a housewarming, Easter or Christmas present for any Christian, or your favourite priest, whether vicar, rector, pastor, curate or bishop.
It would also look very attractive standing on a window sill allowing the light to shine through or in a devotional corner in your own home as a reminder of faith and a spiritual connection. As it’s made of glass it will never fade or lose its colour so it can be enjoyed forever.
The piece is about 14 cm (5.5 inches high and the curve is about 19.5 cm (7.25 inches) across. It weighs 380 grams.
