Description
This nativity fused glass curve is an exquisite and unique piece of art. The artist has taken the traditional nativity scene and produced it in pale amber glass. This one of a kind, hand-crafted and signed on the reverse by the artist.   The nativity figures have been carved into the glass in the kiln for about 24 hours. After the glass is cooled and washed it is placed carefully on a ceramic mould and returned to the kiln for a further 24 hours so it takes on the curved shape making it free standing.
This would be a fabulous Christmas present.
In addition it would also look very attractive standing on a window sill allowing the light to shine through or in a devotional corner in your home as a reminder of faith and the meaning of Christmas. As it’s made of glass it will never fade or lose its colour so it can be enjoyed forever.
The piece is approximately 14 cm (5.5 inches high and the curve is about 17.5 cm (7 inches) across. It weighs about 286 grams.
