Description
This fused glass coasters with stars have been handmade in our studio in Chilham, Kent. The artist was inspired to make this gorgeous set of four 10cm (4 inch) square fused glass coasters by the night skies near her home in the Kent Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  The artist first created gold-coloured stars and placed them between sheets of studio glass which she had cut to size. She then fused them together in her kiln at more than 800oC for about 20 hours.  Each coaster is unique and is signed on the reverse by the artist.  As well as looking good on any coffee table, any coffee or wine stains are easily wiped away with a damp cloth. with transparent non-slip feet
