Description
This beautiful Canterbury Cross has been made using opaque pale brown and cream streaky glass which appears pale on one side and slightly darker on the other. The design of the cross is based on a Saxon brooch found in 1867 in Canterbury. The cross has been handmade using the Tiffany copper foil stained glass technique. This unique cross has been signed on the reverse by the artist and comes with a sturdy hanging loop making it ready to hang in your window to catch the light or anywhere else in your home.
The Canterbury Cross is a symbol of the Christian faith and the Anglican church.
Excluding the hanging loop it is approximately 13 cm or 5 inches in diameter and weighs around 140g.
