Weekly daytime glass fusing classes in Kent- still Covid secure

Good news: we now have spaces on this course!

Our weekly daytime glass fusing classes take place in our light and airy Chilham studio on Tuesdays from 11am to 2pm.

We welcome everyone, from complete beginners to people making complex fused glass splashbacks, & everyone in between. While the minimum time you can sign up for is 6 weeks, people often keep coming for months or years, enjoying the social side as well as the creative opportunities that our courses provide.

You can explore countless techniques within fused glass. We offer a suggested list of topics but you’re free to do your own thing if you prefer. Glass is available to buy from us or you can bring your own; we’ll provide beginners with some free glass for their first session. Equipment is provided in our well equipped teaching studio & fusing is only charged for when you want it.

Our kiln schedules are optimised for Bullseye fusing glass, though we do a little work with float glass too.

We occasionally have students combining fused glass and stained glass too, in the same window or panel. It’s not a problem!

Classes are pretty flexible. If you can’t make a session, give us at least a week’s notice and you won’t be charged for it. (You won’t get that in an Adult Ed glass course!) Classes are £30 each for blocks of six or more; if you pay for a block of ten you get an eleventh FREE.
There’s free parking on site, well maintained equipment and free tea, coffee and biscuits. What more could you ask for?

You can book a series of six or ten classes via the website. If you need an extra session or two at the end of your block but don’t want to commit to another block, extra classes (for less than a block of 6) cost £35 each.
