Leaded stained glass window being made by one of our students on a regular course

Pre-Christmas leaded stained glass course for beginners and improvers

Avoid the town centre madness and mayhem on our pre-Christmas leaded stained glass course, 14th – 15th December. 10am to 5pm (approx.) each day; £150 per person

Whether you’ve done all of your preparations already and have a pile of Amazon boxes in the house, whether you loathe Christmas and are trying to ignore it for as long as possible, or whether you’re one of the millions of people in the country who don’t celebrate it and have a free weekend, why not join us for two days learning to make a stained glass panel to take home.  If you’ve not worked with glass before, you’ll start by learning how to cut and shape glass with confidence.

If you’re an old hand, you can brush up your cutting skills or dive straight into creating your design.

What will it cost?

£150 per person, including all raw materials, use of all necessary equipment, refreshments, lunches and parking on site. (We guarantee no battling for a space in a multistorey car park!)

Where is it?

In Chilham, opposite the junction of Maidstone Road (the A252) & Taylors Hill.

What can I make?

You get to design your own leaded light, up to A4 size, and then turn it into reality using our wide range of glass. You’ll make an artwork to be proud of; a family heirloom! People with previous experience can make something more advanced.

Bring some pictures or design ideas for inspiration and be prepared to amaze yourself at what you can achieve with a bit of effort. All materials, lunches and refreshments are included.

It is possible to start a more complex panel (e.g. for a door or window) on this course & finish it at home or on our regular weekly classes; please drop us a line or phone us if you have this in mind. Thanks.
