Socially distanced glass fusing course for beginners & improvers
Lockdown rules permitting, celebrate your freedom with a Monday glass fusing course for beginners & improvers.
Our purpose designed spacious Kent studio will be set up to allow a maximum of four students, with 2m spacing between each of you. Why not invite a friend too – so long as you keep your distance, of course!
Come and explore warm glass with us, using both float glass and then Bullseye fusing glass. On your Monday glass fusing course for beginners & improvers, a generous quantity of materials, lunch and refreshments are included. Impress yourself with what you can create! Artistic ability is useful but by no means essential.
If you’ve not played with glass before, don’t worry. We’ll teach you and soon have you cutting with confidence. You can even make something beautiful without cutting glass at all! We have a wide range of colourful sheet glass, frit, stringers (think “glass spaghetti”) and more. Come and be spoiled for choice.
What can I make?
On your glass fusing day, you can make coasters, small dishes, window hangings & / or even art for your garden. The choice is yours; make several smaller items or perhaps a couple of bigger things.
Your glass will be fused after your course. You’re welcome to collect it or it can be posted to you. This typically costs around £7 depending on its size & weight.
Where do I park?
There’s plenty of free parking on the drive outside the studio. There’s even a free car park just across the road as well; even your car can keep its distance 😉
Definitely not sandals or flipflops! Have a quick look at our website – basically any closed in and comfortable footwear, clothes that aren’t too precious & glasses if you need them. Oh, and a smile!
Handwashing materials will be in abundance.
IF YOU OR ANY OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAVE COVID-19 SYMPTOMS IN THE 14 DAYS BEFORE YOUR COURSE, PLEASE DON’T COME. Contact us to reschedule your course instead. Thank you.
