A student happily shows off the glass suncatcher that she's just finished making

Learn to make copper foiled glass suncatchers on a two day course. £150 including all materials.

If you’d like to learn to make copper foiled stained glass (also known as copper lights or Tiffany stained glass), you’ve come to the right place. On Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th October (other dates available too) we’re running a course perfect for beginners and those with a little experience, where you can make your own stained glass suncatcher.

We’ll teach you to cut glass safely and with confidence, then give as much guidance as you need while you create your very own design. Use our wide variety of coloured and textured glass to bring your design to life! Our small class sizes mean that you’re sure to make a glass panel or suncatcher to be proud of.

When your pieces are all cut and ground to shape, you’ll learn to apply the copper foil, before soldering all of the pieces together.

Please note: this course is not suitable for under 18s and anyone who’s pregnant, as the solder contains lead.

The sessions will run from 10am to 5pm both days, with a little flexibility around the finish times if necessary.  Lunch and refreshments will be provided both days.
