Students learn how to fuse glass on a kiln forming taster day

Learn how to fuse glass on our kiln forming taster day. £95 for 7 hours.

Have you always wondered how to fuse glass to make decorative and useful glassy things for your home or your friends? Wonder no longer!

Join us on Saturday 1st September for a taster day in glass fusing. As well as refreshments and lunch, we’ll provide a wide range of quality Bullseye fusing glass, all of the equipment you could possibly need including slumping moulds to allow you to make bowls & stand-up plaques as well as suncatchers, coasters, keyrings and / or jewellery.

The course includes enough glass for you to make two or three medium size items or more smaller ones. Dichroic glass is available to buy if you’d like to branch out into serious bling!

The course runs from 10am to 5pm, though you can leave sooner if you prefer. Most of our students can’t believe how the time flies, as they get engrossed in their creations!

Your glass will be ready to collect in around a week, depending on whether it needs a second 24 hours in the kiln to slump into a 3D shape. You’re welcome to collect it or we can post it to you at cost (usually around £7 including protective packaging).

We’ll teach you to cut glass (if you haven’t learned yet) and guide you through the techniques that’ll set you off into the wonderland that is glass art. You never know where one Saturday course learning how to fuse glass might take you!!
