Leaded stained glass window being made by one of our students on a regular course

Leaded stained glass Thursday & Friday course for beginners and improvers

Traditional leaded stained glass Thursday & Friday course, 10am to 5pm (approx.) each day; £150 per person

If you’ve not worked with glass before, start by learning how to cut and shape glass with confidence.

If you’re an old hand, you can brush up your cutting skills or dive straight into creating your design.

What can I make?

You get to design your own leaded light stained glass panel, up to A4 size, and then turn it into reality using our wide range of glass. You’ll make an artwork to be proud of; a family heirloom! People with previous experience can make something more advanced, e.g. with more pieces of glass or a more complex design.

Bring some pictures or design ideas for inspiration and be prepared to amaze yourself at what you can achieve with a bit of effort. All materials, lunches and refreshments are included.

It is possible to start a more complex pane; (e.g. for a door or window) on this course & either finish it at home or join our weekly classes to finish it off; please drop us a line or phone us if you have this in mind. Thanks.

Where are you?

We’re in the pretty village of Chilham, midway between Canterbury, Ashford (Kent) and Faversham. There are B&Bs and self catering places within walking distance; see our “where to stay” page for more details.
