If you’ve done a bit of fused glass before and enjoyed it, why not join us for our “glass fusing for improvers” tack fusing day.

You’ll get to create glass art with texture, using firstly float glass (this will be fused separately) and then Bullseye fusing glass. A generous quantity of materials, lunch and refreshments are included; we don’t just limit you to offcuts on our classes! You’ll impress yourself with what you can create! Artistic ability is useful but by no means essential.

If you weren’t taught to cut glass with confidence on your previous course(s), don’t worry. We can teach you if necessary and will soon have you cutting with confidence. If your hands aren’t very strong, you can still make something beautiful without cutting glass at all; we have a large array of frit to have fun with. We have a wide range of colourful sheet glass, frit, stringers (think “glass spaghetti”) and more. Come and be spoiled for choice.

What can I make?

On your glass fusing for improvers day, you can make dishes, window hangings & / or even art for your garden. The choice is yours; make several smaller items or perhaps a couple of bigger things. You might for example choose to spend most of the day on a single statement piece if you prefer.

Your glass will be fused after your course and can be collected or posted to you (this typically costs around £7 depending on its size & weight).
