Join us for a glass appliqué taster Sunday. It’s perfect for beginners and improvers in glass art and will round off your summer break with a day to remember. Make something beautiful whilst caring for the environment.

Glass appliqué is similar to mosaic, but you work on a background of clear glass. This lets the light shine through & will paint your walls with coloured light! The pieces of glass don’t need to fit accurately together, so it’s great for beginners and people with weak hands. If you’re a seasoned stained glass artist on the other hand, you’ll find it a brilliant way to use up your small offcuts of coloured glass.

We supply everything that you need. Just bring yourself and perhaps a friend. Wear some closed-in shoes and bring a smile!

Whether it’s your first time cutting glass or whether you’ve cupboards full of art glass waiting for a new use, come and join us. In a day, you can expect to make a panel of around A5 size.  All materials, refreshments and lunch are included, plus free parking.
