Stained glass mosaic taster day – perfect for beginners and improvers in glass art. Make something beautiful whilst caring for the environment. Also known as glass appliqué.

The difference between stained glass mosaic and regular mosaic is that you work with pieces of coloured glass on a background of clear glass, which lets the light shine through your finished creation, painting your walls with coloured light much as a stained glass window would.

The pieces of glass don’t need to fit accurately together, so it’s great for beginners and people with weak hands. If you’re a seasoned stained glass artist on the other hand, you’ll find it a brilliant way to use up your small offcuts of coloured glass.

We supply everything that you need. Just bring yourself, perhaps a friend, some closed-in shoes and a smile!

Whether it’s your first time cutting glass or whether you’ve cupboards full of art glass waiting for a new use, come and join us. In a day, you can expect to make a panel of around A5 size.  All materials, refreshments and lunch are included, plus free parking.
