This fused creative glass day for improvers is perfect for anyone who’s done some glass fusing before and would like to take it further. Because we have a small class size (max. 4 people), you’ll make great progress, as you’ll get whatever help you need. It also allows for social distancing. (If you’re not available on Sundays, do keep an eye on our website or get in touch, as we run the course on different days throughout the year.)

Let us help you take your glass fusing to the next level. You might like to try some more advanced glass cutting than you’ve had the courage to attempt before. Why not experiment with reactive effects, kiln carving or working with inclusions (things other than glass) between layers of Bullseye glass? Maybe you’re thinking of getting a kiln and would like to know more about kiln programmes, or perhaps you’ve had some mishaps in your own kiln and don’t know why? If you have any particular things you’d like to try or learn about, drop us a line or give us a ring.

What can I make?

You can make coasters, small dishes, fruit bowls, window hangings, pictures to frame or even art for your garden. The choice is yours; the smaller the items, the more you can make. (Why not have a look at our Facebook page & see what our previous visitors have made? Note that some of them are regular weekly visitors, especially the people making huge things!)

On the weekly classes, students pay for their own glass, while on this fused creative glass follow-on day the cost of the glass is included for a coloured item up to 20 x 20cm (or several smaller things) . We also include float (window) glass for your first (practise) item. If you’d like to make something larger, you can pay for the extra glass; if you’re hoping to make something massive, do please speak to us first!

Your glass will be fused after your course and can be collected or posted to you (this typically costs around £7 depending on its size & weight). If you’re planning to make something huge, you may need to collect it!
