If you’ve been cooped up for too long and are longing to escape, join us for a creative glass fusing taster day, perfect for beginners, in our airy Kent studio. It’s your opportunity to break free from the confines of home and enjoy some quality “me” time. You deserve it!

Come and explore creative glass fusing with us, in a group of up to four people. You’ll be using float (window) glass first while you get your confidence, and then you’ll progress onto Bullseye fusing glass. A generous quantity of materials, lunch and refreshments are included. You’ll impress yourself with what you can create! Artistic ability is useful but by no means essential.

If you’ve not played with glass before, don’t worry. We’ll teach you and soon have you cutting with confidence. You can even make something beautiful without cutting glass at all! We have a wide range of colourful sheet glass, frit, stringers (think “glass spaghetti”) and more. Come and be spoiled for choice.

What can I make?

On your creative glass fusing taster day you can make coasters, small dishes, window hangings or even art for your garden. The choice is yours; the smaller the items, the more you can make. On the weekly classes, students pay for their own glass, while on this glass fusing Thursday workshop the cost of the glass is included for a coloured item up to 20 x 20cm (or several smaller things) plus float (window) glass for your first (practise) item.

Your glass will be fused after your course and can be collected or posted to you (this typically costs around £7 depending on its size & weight).
