Covid secure glass fusing for Christmas – gifts and decorations

We’re running a Covid secure glass fusing day in our Kent studio, so the pandemic doesn’t have to ruin your Christmas!

Get into the Christmas spirit with us, on our first 2020 Glass Fusing for Christmas course, from 10am to 5pm on 31st October. There’ll be a maximum of four spaces on the course, to allow ample room for social distancing, so places will get snapped up quickly.

Make unique presents for your friends, decorations for your home- both bang on trend and “forever heirlooms”. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an experienced crafter or whether you’ve never cut glass before; we can guide you & get you cutting glass with confidence.

There’ll be a great range of fusing glass to choose from, the tools will all be provided, as will lunch, refreshments and free on-site parking. Oh, and soap, hand sanitiser and paper towels…

You’ll need to bring a face covering with you, but (unless government rules change) you’ll only need to wear it when / if you’re less than 2m from someone else.

What can I make?

You can make hanging decorations, free standing decorations, Christmassy coasters, small dishes, window hangings, keyrings or even jewellery. (We also have jewellery findings such as pendant bails, brooch backs and earring wires for sale if you need them.) The choice is yours; the smaller the items, the more you can make. Included in the course fee is enough Bullseye fusing glass to make something up to 20 x 20cm square as well as your practise item(s) made from window glass.

Your glass will be fused after your course and can be collected or posted to you (this typically costs around £7 depending on its size & weight).
