Cutting thin strips of blue glass for a fused coral glass bowl

Deb’s making a coral bowl on her glass fusing taster day.

Make the most of summer by joining us this weekend for a glass fusing day on Saturday 1st September, in sunny Kent.

You’ll get to experiment with Bullseye fusing glass to make coasters, small dishes, suncatchers or even Christmas decorations from colourful glass! Yes, some of our students have started getting ready for Christmas already 😉

If you’re a complete beginner in cutting glass, we’ll introduce you gently. Then you can hone your glass cutting skills by making something beautiful from regular window glass, before progressing to the coloured sheet glass, frit (like glass nuggets and glass sand), stringers (like glass spaghetti) and our hand made funky frit balls.

You’ll amaze yourself with what you can create and might find yourself making unique glass presents for your nearest and dearest.

Our one day course includes materials, fusing, slumping (shaping your glass into a 3D shape if you like), refreshments, lunch and laughter.

If you’d like to make a weekend of it, we’re situated in a beautiful medieval village (Chilham), with pretty B&Bs within walking distance, two village pubs within staggering distance 😉 and public transport links to Canterbury, Faversham and Ashford with its designer shopping outlet. You could even nip through the Channel Tunnel on Sunday if you like; it’s not far from here!
